Chuck "HOP"son hops from Democratic Party to Republican

In this article is definitely partisan which is not necessarily a bad thing. The point is that Hopson, former Democrat, is wanting to change sides and run as a Republican candidate. The Republicans are not so happy about him "hiding" himself in the party when he had scored a 39 on the YCT legislative rating and is liberal. The author does have a point when he states that there have been several Republican candidates from Texas rise and become very popular. Obviously the Republican party does not want this happening for Chuck Hopson because of his liberal views. The author has some very candid points when describing the reasoning behind him wanting to switch parties and the downfalls it could have on the Republican party. Therefore, this is a well written blog.
